So ive owned my Garmin 301 for a bit now, and have used it on the last two Davis TT's.
My time in those two TT's has dropped about 20 seconds or so. But what is more interesting, is that my HR has dropped as well.
On 6/7/06 my avg HR was 173 bpm with a max of 180
On 6/21/06 my avg was 166 with a max of 176
This is a really good trend. It means Im going faster, and its easier on my body.
The heart cannot sustain hugely high bpm's for a long duration...so you want it to be as efficient as possible. There's one more tt before the great race, it would be awesome if my time was lower at that one, with an even lower HR. Im happy that the next TT is a week before the GR, and not on the same week. Thats good.
